Relationships

  • As human beings, we are wired for connection and made to be in relationship with one another. Relationships include partners, family, friends, and even our relationship with ourselves. Each connection is shaped by communication, emotional bonds, and the life experiences we bring into it.

  • Relationships shape our mental health, self esteem, and emotional regulation. They can feel supportive and grounding, and at times painful or challenging, and sometimes we hold all of these experiences at once. They can energize us or drain our energy battery. Supportive relationships can foster connection and resilience, while more difficult ones may contribute to anxiety, stress, and patterns rooted in past experiences that we carry into the present.

  • Therapy can help you better understand your relationship patterns, improve communication, set boundaries, and navigate conflict. It offers a space to explore how your experiences show up in relationships and to build more intentional, fulfilling connections.
